I got the email from Stacy Holmes at Yellow Rose, The Wild Rose Press, on 9/5/07. My birthday is 9/6, so what a great birthday present! Stacy is the best. I'm doing edits and looking forward to the release of Heart of Stone. This is the first book I ever wrote, and it won first place in the Fort Bend Writer's Guild contest. I'm thrilled to say the least. This is a crazy roller coaster ride of a business, but the upsides are so rewarding.

Heart of Stone addresses the issues of date rape, an ensuing pregnancy, and the romance of Amber and Stone.

In addition to the edits, I'm working on a short story and a sequel to Heart of Stone.
